U.S. Public Health - Indian Health Service - National Health Service
The Indian Health Service provides total loan repayments directly to lending institutions in exchange for federal and/or private employment commitments. All outstanding health professions education loans, both federal and commercial, apply. The length of commitment is determined by the amount of the loan to be repaid.

U.S. Public Health Service Scholarships and Loan Repayments
Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program Funds will repay amounts borrowed for tuition, fees, educational expense, and reasonable living expenses for nurses employed in health care facilities in geographic areas with a critical shortage of nurses.

UNCF/Toyota Scholarship Program
Must be nominated by financial aid director at the UNCF college. Four-year scholarships including $7500 grants, internships, annual recognition banquet, and leadership-building workshop. 3.0 GPA must be maintained throughout four years.
Duration: 4 years.

University of Pennsylvania Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
Multiple postdoctoral research fellowships in NIH/NINIR supported institutional training programs are offered annually at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing. Research opportunities are available in the areas of nursing outcomes at the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research; historical research at the Center for the Study of the History of Nursing; and vulnerable women, children, and families at the new Center for Health Disparities. Upward Bound NADONA Scholarship
This scholarship has been established to reward and assist Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing assistants who are currently employed in long term care and who are interested in pursuing higher education with a career focus in long term care.

Utah Nurses Foundation Grant-In-Aid Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to Utah residents who are interested in earning a nursing degree.
Duration: 1 year; recipients may reapply.

Utah Statewide Nurse Education Financial Assistance Program
To provide financial assistance for graduate nursing education to nurses with a Utah license.

Utility Workers Union of America Scholarship Awards Program
Renewable award for high school juniors who are children of members of the Utility Workers Union of America. Must take the Preliminary SAT National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in junior year and plan to enter college in the fall after high school graduation.
